ACCESS INTO YOUR HOME

​

To grant Fairy Maid's access into your home, you have the following options: The most convenient method is to leave a key to your residence with the Fairy Maid's. Your key will be securely stored in our key safe, coded for security without any personal information attached. In case you have an alarm system, provide access instructions to the office.

 

For security reasons, we do not mail back keys. We require customers to either have their cleaner or our office manager drop off the keys at their home, ensuring the presentation of a picture ID before releasing the key. If leaving a key with our cleaner is not feasible, you may choose to meet our manager at your residence. Please review the Cancellation Policy in case the Cleaner cannot access your home during the scheduled arrival time. If none of the mentioned options work, make alternative arrangements with our office.

PAYMENT

​

Payment in full is required at the time of your cleaning. You can make a cash payment to our cleaners or send an email transfer to Fairy Maid's at fairymaidsinfo@gmail.com, where your payment will be automatically deposited into our account. Customers also have the option to prepay for services. Please be aware that we do not accept checks as a form of payment for our services.

 

A $25 fee will be incurred for any service cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

SCHEDULING CLEANINGS

​

Recurring cleanings follow a checklist and priorities agreed upon during your consultation. One-time cleanings are scheduled in standard time blocks, with every effort made to complete the service within the allocated time. If a deep clean is skipped at the start of service, it may take a couple of cleanings to determine your ongoing maintenance requirements. We appreciate your patience as we adapt to your home's cleaning needs, ensuring that areas needing extra attention are addressed promptly. Some homes may be subject to an initial cleaning fee.

 

While we aim to assign the same staff member for regular cleanings, this may vary due to circumstances like vacations, illness, or employee turnover. In such cases, a replacement cleaner may be provided.

 

If your service providers cannot finish cleaning within the scheduled time due to the unique aspects of your home, we may contact you for approval to extend the cleaning duration. Any additional costs will be communicated beforehand. We reserve the right to charge extra fees for cleanings that require more time or deviate significantly from the submitted home description during booking. To facilitate our work effectively, please ensure the area is clutter-free and double-check the information provided in your booking form.

ARRIVAL WINDOWS

​

To maintain the quality of service for all our valued clients, Fairy Maid's does not provide specific arrival times. Arrival windows are designed to accommodate the variables of each day and household without compromising the commitments we make to you.

 

Our service cleaners will arrive within the following timeframes:

- If we have a key to your home, the arrival window is between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm. When meeting someone at the home, a two-hour arrival window will be set between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm.

FEEDBACK ON OUR SERVICES

​

Following each cleaning session, you will be allowed to evaluate the service on a scale of 1 to 6 using our quality check sheet, which will be provided to you on every cleaning day. Your rating will directly impact the compensation level of the professional house cleaners assigned to your home. We kindly request you to take a moment to share your feedback. Your opinions are valuable to us, and your input is crucial for us to enhance our service and better cater to your needs. Additionally, you can use the notes section to request additional cleaning services or communicate any special requirements you may have. Our cleaners will return this sheet to our office, serving as a means of communication between Fairy Maid's and our customers.

24-HOUR GUARANTEE

​

Understanding that cleaning is a highly personal and human service, we acknowledge that there may be instances where an area is not cleaned to your satisfaction. While we do not provide refunds, one of our cleaners will gladly re-clean any area that does not meet your expectations. Simply inform us of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning, and we will make every effort to address them promptly.

GRATUITY

​

Our cleaners never require you to tip, but it is a meaningful way to show appreciation to your professional cleaners. Additionally, leaving an online review on our Google page to express your gratitude for their service can make a significant impact.

​

CANCELLATION OF SERVICE

​

We understand that rescheduling may be necessary from time to time. If you need to cancel or reschedule your scheduled service, Fairy Maid's requires a minimum of two business days’ notice. In the event that we receive less than two business days’ notice or are unable to access your home, a charge of up to the full price of the cleaning may be incurred. Any future cleanings will remain unaffected. For schedule adjustments, please reach out to us directly at 368 887 8092. Please note that schedule or service changes cannot be made through your professional house cleaner.

 

Recurring services are offered at a discounted rate. If you opt to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning, standard One-Time Cleaning charges will apply.

BREAKAGE/LOSS

​

Fairy Maid's is fully bonded and insured. In the event of breakage or loss, please notify us within 48 hours of the service. Key replacement or locksmith fees will only be covered if keys are lost or miscoded. A liability limit of $100 per location applies for key replacement and locksmith services.

​

CLEANING SUPPLIES

​

At Fairy Maid's, we utilize safe and dependable professional-grade cleaning supplies for cleaning your home. Should you have specific products that you prefer us to use on certain surfaces, we are more than happy to accommodate your request. Kindly reach out to our office before your scheduled cleaning so that we can provide instructions to your professional house cleaner accordingly.

PETS

​

Kindly ensure that all pets are secured in their travel crates or kennels during the cleaning session. While Fairy Maid's will handle all pets with care and respect, we cannot be held responsible for any instances of their escape.

​

SERVICE LIMITATIONS

​

For safety and insurance reasons, we adhere to the following guidelines during our services:

 

- We do not use ladders taller than two steps.

- We make efforts to reach visible areas using extension dusting tools or vacuum extensions.

- Items weighing over 25 pounds will not be moved.

- Firearms should be relocated by clients before cleaning, as we do not handle or move them.

- We do not clean biohazard materials like animal/human feces, urine, vomit, blood, etc.

- Our standard practice excludes the use of bleach unless specifically requested by the client. Please be aware that any resulting damage is not our responsibility.

- Our cleaning services are limited to "living spaces," which are areas within a home or facility equipped with air conditioning.

We do not handle the removal or disposal of trash, debris, or furniture, including post-construction clean-ups.

 

Prior to our arrival at a new construction site, it is essential that all equipment, tools, and debris are cleared away. It is highly recommended that all construction tasks are finalized before our final cleaning service is conducted. The final clean we offer is an extensive and meticulous deep clean to prepare the property for new occupants to move in. Please note that we do not provide a guarantee for this type of service, as many construction companies do not adhere to this policy. Often, contractors continue to work inside the home while cleaners are cleaning, leading to additional messes being created in areas already cleaned by our crew. We do not accept responsibility for the outcomes of cleanings categorized as "NEW CONSTRUCTION".
